Celebrate Black History Month with us inside the Tacoma Armory at the 4th Annual Black History Month Celebration Market, presented by Black Night Market Events! This event honors the legacy, culture, and creativity of the Black community through a powerful day of music, art, food, and connection. Experience the importance of keeping our dollars circulating within our community by supporting over 40 local Black- and BIPOC-owned businesses, artists, and performers from across the region.

Enjoy a lineup of inspiring and entertaining live performances that capture the spirit of Black excellence: featuring spoken word poetry, African drumming, live jazz, R&B singers, dance performances, and interactive cultural showcases. Past performers have included local poets, soulful vocalists, step teams, and jazz musicians who bring the Tacoma Armory to life with rhythm and energy.
Indulge in the rich flavors of soul food, Caribbean dishes, African cuisine, Southern comfort favorites, and delicious desserts from local chefs and food vendors who celebrate the heritage of Black culinary traditions.
