Menorah Making Contest - SJCC
Calling all creatives! The J invites you to join our Hanukkah menorah making contest this year and create a unique, homemade menorah for our lobby display. Bring your homemade design to the J by Friday, Dec. 12. Artists must be over the age of 6.
If you intend to submit a menorah, reserve your spot!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Rules + Guidelines
1. Your menorah needs eight candles, plus one more candle set apart from the others as the shamash (helper candle).
2. Your menorah needs to be made with materials you can find at home.
3. Your menorah dimensions should not be more than one foot high and one foot wide.
4. Artwork must include a short statement sharing the inspiration/theme of your menorah.
5. You must drop off your submission at the J by 5 pm on Friday, Dec. 12. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Entries will be displayed in our SJCC lobby and open for voting December 15‐19. Vote for your favorite! Winning menorahs will be announced and featured on the SJCC website.
