*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/07/2026
Join us to learn how to start plants from seed in winter! In this hands-on workshop, participants will sow seeds in a milk jug to take home and nurture.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

We’ll also explore how seeds move and grow, followed by a guided walk through the Garden to discover what’s happening here in winter. This program is best for ages 5 and up with accompanying adult(s). Adults are free. Youth ages 11 and older may participate on their own with a signed waiver.
