Extraordinary Creatures and How to Care for Them - Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium

Abracadabra? More like abraca-armadillo! The brand-new, magical animal show kicks off at the Wild Wonders Outdoor Theater May 7. The cast of more than a dozen animals includes Clark the king vulture, clouded leopard Banyan, Tilli the aardvark, Forrest the eagle owl and Rocket the new rescued dog, making his debut as “Professor Dumbledog.”

Mountlake Terrace's July 3 Fireworks Show

The July 3 Fireworks Show is a beloved tradition. This year’s festivities will be scaled back from recent years. Beginning at 6:00 p.m. the fun will include a DJ and food trucks. A fantastic fireworks display over beautiful Lake Ballinger will be the highlight of the event when darkness falls at approximately 10:00 p.m.

Venardos Circus in Tacoma, WA

Ringmaster Kevin Venardos (veh-NARR-dos), the Venardos Circus wraps world-class animal-free circus acts into a Broadway Musical-style format dubbed “The American Circus with the heart of a Broadway Show.” Celebrate the summer with Fourth Of July Weekend shows!
