Family Saturdays | 2025 Towner Award Nominees - Washington State History Museum
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 10/05/2024
The Towner Award is the Washington state award for nonfiction picture books written for 2nd-6th grade students. In the spring, all Washington State students in public and independent schools, from second through sixth grades, are invited to vote for their favorite book. Student votes are submitted by school and public librarians. The Towner Awards Committee will offer multiple readings of award-winning selections between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Please note that this Family Saturdays offering has a different format than normal. The event will run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with members of the Washington Library Association Towner Award Committee reading several books throughout the day.
