Discover how history connects us all during our Family Saturdays. This month’s story is Home, by Carson Ellis, a book about the many different homes people make. We’ll read the book together and spend time exploring the textures and materials of one such home, a traditional Coast Salish plank house. Then you’ll have the chance to build a model of your own home—real or imagined.

Join us this spring for Family Saturdays! Explore how history connects us all during this hour-long story time program designed for children ages 4 to 10 and their friends and families.
Family Saturdays occur on the first Saturday of every month. These programs are designed for our youngest historians—ages 2 to 8—and their families, but all ages are welcome!
