First Annual Slug Hunt

Burkhead Art Center is fundraising in order to continue bringing creative opportunities to our community!
Our 1st Annual Slug Hunt is a fun family event that incorporates art and adventure.
There are a few different ways to participate:

Decorate and Donate a Slug to the Center. $10 to decorate, $20 to take home. Slugs that are donated back to the center will be used in as prizes for locating hidden tokens. Love your slug too much to give it up? Slugs may be purchased for $20 to be decorated and taken home with you!
- Join us at our Art Show on September 10th and 11th to paint your slug!

Participate in the Slug Hunt on OCT. 15th.
Purchase a “Hunting License” on our wesbite and receive a map to go out hunting on October 15th. Find a special token…once found bring back to the Burkhead Art Center and pick out your handcrafted slug! Some tokens have special prizes attached.
*All proceeds of the Slug Hunt will be used by BAC to improve our facilities, and develop more working and learning opportunities for local artists and community members. Our mission is allow working artists to earn a livable wage, and create a community for those who wish to bring more creativity and passion into their lives.
