Since the late 1980s, this dynamic group has been bonking barrels and sharing the sunny sounds of Trinidadian steel drums with audiences of all ages. From Pike Place Market to the islands of Puget Sound, the Toucans have delighted crowds with their energetic rhythms and island-inspired tunes.
Perfect for kids and families, the Toucans’ performance is a fun-filled journey through music and culture. You’ll learn about the fascinating history of steel drums, crafted from the bottoms of old oil barrels, and experience the joy of their unique, bright melodies.
