Seattle Color Festival - Holi 2023

Holi is an ancient Hindu tradition and also one of the most popular festivals in India and is now celebrated around the world with great enthusiasm. It celebrates the eternal and divine love of God Radha Krishna. The day also signifies the triumph of good over evil.

 

 

Holi celebrates the arrival of spring, the end of winter, the blossoming of love and, for many, it is a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships. The festival is also an invitation for a good spring harvest season.

 

 

Holi celebrations are also known as the Festival of Colors, the Festival of Spring, and the Festival of Love!

 

 

This year Holi will be celebrated with great enthusiasm, and this is one of the most diverse and inclusive festivals to celebrate with everyone. It's a family friendly event and people of all races, ethnicity, age, gender, color are invited to get soaked in colors and show the power of One Community - One Seattle!

 

 

The most popular DJ Prashant from Oregon will be playing Bollywood and other popular music to keep everyone entertained. Live2Dance team will keep everyone dancing and Elements team will play traditional dhol tasha to make it more fun.

 

 

Entry is all FREE, but registration is required at www.seattlecolorfestival.com. There will be food trucks for food and color can be purchased. (ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE COLOR IS ALLOWED AND VIOLATORS WILL BE FINED).

 

 

Enjoy the monorail ride from Seattle Center to Westlake Park, Seattle Downtown as we end the festival there with extended fun, food and a lot more surprises. Stay tuned to see information about free monorail tickets coming soon.

 

 

You can have free parking at Amazon in Downtown Seattle, or there is street parking and other paid parking lots at Seattle Center.
