Seattle JazzED Black History Month Assemblies
*The event has already taken place on this date: Thu, 02/15/2024
Seattle JazzED's educators are touring around Seattle and the surrounding areas to bring Black History Month Assemblies to a school near you.
Students learn the historical roots of jazz as a Black American art form, how jazz musicians use music to express feelings, and are introduced to musical instruments.
Our Black History Month assembly is intended to be a whole school event and is tailored for students in grades K-5. Students in grades 3-5 receive priority enrollment to our Summer Jazz Foundations camp.
