54th Annual Northwest Folklife Festival at Seattle Center

We're excited to announce this year's 2025 Cultural Focus, IKIGAI! Pronounced: Ee-kee-guy. The concept of Ikigai marks the next phase in our cultural focus exploration that began by looking inward at our personal growth. Over the past three years, these themes-- Metamorphosis, Lagom, and Meraki, which explore change, balance, and passion--helped us understand our role in a fast-changing world, often overwhelmed with distractions and demands.

Ice Cream Cruise - Seattle Water Tours

We are delighted to announce that the Ice Cream Cruise will return to the Lake Washington Ship Canal in 2025 from our new home on Dock 9 at Fisherman’s Terminal. Seattle’s sweetest trip. Climb aboard the Fremont Avenue at Fisherman’s Terminal for the Ice Cream Cruise. Public Peapod Program - The Center for Wooden Boats

One and all are encouraged to reserve one of our peapod rowboats for free one-hour rentals at our South Lake Union location! Available Wednesday-Sunday all year long! These boats can hold up to 4 adults and are perfect for rowers of all experiences. Peapod boats are temporarily available by walk up only, first come first served, free boat rental is not guaranteed.
