Detective Cookie is well known in our community as the founder of a youth chess club that has taught hundreds of local youth to play chess. Our vision for Det. Cookie Chess Park is to create a small public park where chess can be played on permanent chess tables. This park is meant to be an outdoor destination for her club as well as the greater community to learn, play and observe chess together in Rainier Beach, Seattle, WA.
