Nature immersion programs for children and families. Our outdoor summer day camps are open to preschool to elementary-aged kids 4-11 and take place weekly at Saint Edward State Park, and Big Finn Hill Park in Kirkland. Through play, exploration and shared time together, we foster deep and lasting connections to the natural world and to each other. The simple act of being in nature is heart affirming and nourishing, brings meaning to our lives, allows us the opportunity to not only connect to each other but also more deeply to our own selves.

Heartwood is a locally run and operated 501c3 nonprofit organization composed of passionate outdoor educators whose mission it is to connect youth and families to nature while fostering community around a shared commitment to stewardship of our wild spaces.
